Environment & Economics

The Environmental and Economic Committee was created to discuss and promote actions relevant to environmental and economic issues affecting the copper industry and market.

In order to fulfill this mandate, the Committee has produced a series of publications on environmental regulations, recycling, first use capacities and other topics.

Additional projects are currently underway and a number of new or renewed activities are also under consideration. Please visit the sections on Environmental & Economic Activities, the Copper Scrap Project and Recent Reports for more information.
